Mayor Bill Carpenter Baseball Complex Is The Home Of Downey Youth Baseball And Is The Premier Baseball Complex In Brockton.
Dedicated in 2020, The Complex Consists Of 5 Well Maintained Fields And Concession Stand. The Concession Stand Serves Hot Food & Cold Drinks And Is The Only One In The City With Fully Functional Men's & Ladies' Restrooms. Our Fields Are Maintained By Our Dedicated Volunteers. We Are Always Looking For Additional Volunteers To Help Out With Both Concessions And Field Maintenance.
The Nicholas Richardson Field Of Dreams Was Constructed In The Early 2000s With The Help Of Volunteers Including Bill Carpenter. This Field Is Primarily Used By Our Major Division Has Lights For Night Games And A Working PA System. It's The Only One Of It's Kind In Brockton. In 2020 It Was Converted From A Traditional 46/60 Field To A 50/70 Field For More Advanced, Competitive Baseball. With These New Dimensions, Players Will Be Able To Lead And Steal Bases On The Base Paths Making It More Exciting For Players & Spectators Both.
